Triglycerides Levels

If you have high triglycerides the danger is always there because it will affect you greatly especially in acquiring heart diseases. We eat foods that are rich in fats or calories and if those calories are not burned it will transform into triglycerides, this is a chemical form of fat that we get from food and also in our body. Calories should be burned it will be converted if not to triglycerides and will be stored in fat cells.

The problem will arise if we store more triglycerides than it is being used. This causes to raise the level and will result to high triglycerides being built up and that can be called having high triglycerides. This will give you unhealthy condition like having high blood pressure, high sugar in the blood and fats that are being built up around waist. These are enough to have heart disease, diabetes and stroke.

If you want to know the level of your triglycerides, you can have a blood test. When the result is under 150 it is in the healthy range but if the result will be more than 200, you are then considered to have elevated triglycerides and that's the start that you need to break it down, you can talk to your doctor about it.

Sometimes having triglyceride because of genetic factors but there is lots of reasons why we acquire such high level of triglycerides too. If you have a thyroid problem it can be a major cause, you are prone to have high triglycerides levels diabetes as well and kidney diseases.

As always the reason why we acquire diseases because of the food we eat bad eating habit and unhealthy food that we take every day. Just imagine those food getting into your body, they will for sure accumulate and will result for certain disease. Certain medication as well results to have high triglyceride levels. This is always present to people who are obese or over weight.

Exercise the often times forgotten thing to do by most people that is why they become obese, the excess fats are not being burned.  Your doctor will prescribe certain medications to you but it will be more effective if you change your lifestyle if you see that you are living in a way that you should not like having vices, you don’t exercise, over eating and consuming unhealthy foods. You can do a lot to be healthy it is all up to you on how you are going to establish a healthy way of living.
